Long-Form Documentary | Semiotics of Cultural Conflict

I had the opportunity to collaborate with Roger Parent, Professor at the University of Alberta, on a five-part, half-hour documentary series exploring the semiotics of cultural conflict. Each episode examined how meaning, symbols, and identity shape — and sometimes divide — cultures.

The series was produced in both English and French, with fully dubbed dual-language audio tracks to ensure accessibility to a national broadcast audience. I was responsible for editing all five episodes in Final Cut Pro, as well as designing the opening title graphics for the entire series.

This project combined academic insight with cinematic storytelling, requiring precision editing, bilingual workflow management, and a strong visual narrative approach across long-form documentary content.
